Thank you

edit

Hi, just wanted to say thank you for the changes to the John 5 wikipedia page. It makes much more sense to have the no names policy in place for his children. My change which you corrected was only to try and clear up some misinformation that had been posted about his family. But appreciate this new update. BTW, I added some citations to points that had been requested and removed some info that a citation/source could not be found for and also removed a reference to a specific tour he supported as I didn't feel it was needed. I've left notes on all my edits. Would you be able to take a look. I don't want to remove the citation template at the top of the page myself and would rather an experienced editor make that call. Thanks. Have a good day! EmmaJL5 14:08, 27 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

changing a photo

edit

still new to editing, doing my best to adhere to the standards. I understand now why the photo I changed was flagged for removal, what would you recommend for changing a photo? would it have to be a photo I took, or something that is public domain somehow, or a photo that was sent to me? sorry I'm just unclear on the procedure for indicating that a photo does not have a copyright Thesharkodile (talk) 18:16, 13 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

A few links were provided on your talk page that relate to our copyright policies. You could start at WP:COPY, and in particular Wikipedia:Copyrights#Guidelines_for_images_and_other_media_files and WP:IUP for guidance. --ZimZalaBim talk 18:34, 13 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Citadel Securities Intern program

edit

Hello ZimZalaBim. I noticed your deletion of the “Internship program” section from Citadel Securities after a user added unsourced information to it. Would you kindly reconsider reinstating the original paragraph that was properly sourced? Or, if you prefer, I have an alternative version that perhaps is more encyclopedic, since it leaves out dates and makes the information less time-dependent. See what you think of this:

Citadel Securities sponsors an 11-week summer internship program each year in which the interns learn about the company and its operations. The program accepts less than 1 percent of those who apply. Most are college seniors, and about half are software engineers, while the rest usually include quantitative researchers and traders. The program attracts top-talent in a competitive environment that includes Meta, Alphabet, Jane Street and others.[1][2]

The internship program is a significant part of the company and its recruiting, as evidenced by the many notable sources dedicated to it. Here are a few articles on the subject for reference:

I appreciate your consideration of this. Thank you. Cduffymul (talk) 13:55, 18 July 2024 (UTC) Cduffymul (talk) 13:55, 18 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

I suggest you take it up on the article's talk page. --ZimZalaBim talk 19:41, 18 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
