Why isn't my caption showing?

Actually, a "teaspoon" is not 5 ml in the US, that is only for a "metric teaspoon". In the US, it is approximately 4.92892159375 ml.

231 ⁱⁿ³/_gal × 2.54^{3 cm3}/_in³ ÷ (6 ^tsp/_oz × 32 ^oz/_qt × 4 ^qt/_gal) ≈ 4.92892159375 cm³

And, of course 1 ml = 1 cm³

This is for a liquid teaspoon, a dry teaspoon would be different since a dry gallon is 268.8025 in³. This works out to be approximately 5.735525743307291 ml. SeanSeoltoir (discuss • contribs) 03:31, 25 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
