The 1948 Marquette Hilltoppers football team was an American football team that represented Marquette University as an independent during the 1948 college football season. In its 18th season under head coach Frank Murray, the team compiled a 2–8 record and was outscored by a total of 212 to 127.[1]

Marquette was ranked at No. 88 in the final Litkenhous Difference by Score System ratings for 1948.[2]

The team played its home games at Marquette Stadium in Milwaukee.
