he was not listed by surname in the cats on his page which I corrected by adding this (|Garrison, Robert) (without curly brackets) after the category name. Cheers Arniep 02:48, 25 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't seem to be adept enough to figure out how to fix this, but the American sculptors category does not show up as a subcategory of American artists.

Professor Armin Scheller taught sculpture and sculpted during his 30 odd years at Louisiana State University. His work was collected by an unknown collector and a university or institution, also not known to me. His work was mostly in bronze with very limited editions. His work was contemporary/modern but based on botanical subjects or well established mythological themes. He was a first generation German immigrant. He retired from LSU around 1968, professor emeritus. He had very little formal training and no advanced degrees. I served as a personal assistant for two years and collected only one small piece of his work due to my status as a poor student. We were great friends.
