For which Linux distro articles the category is created

[edit]

This category page is created for Linux distro's that were specifically created to be used on a subnotebook, netbook or other low cost Linux based laptop replacement. Its NOT intended for those Linux distributions that are not specifically written for these systems, even when a distribution which is was based on it. So Fedora Linux, should not be included, but the on fedora based Linpus Linux should. At a minimum the article about the distribution must have a specific section that mentions the special version specifically written to be used on a subnotebook, netbook or other low cost Linux based laptop replacement. So Xandros is acceptable, as it has a section about the specific version for the EEE PC.

Also, the article should be about a Full Linux distro, so Sugar (GUI) should not be included, as it's not a Linux Distro, but if an article is written about the specific Linux distro for the OLPC then it should be included. Mahjongg (talk) 14:31, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
