Iron Family (Korean: 다리미 패밀리) is an upcoming South Korean television series starring Kim Jung-hyun, Keum Sae-rok and Choi Tae-joon. It is scheduled to air on KBS2 in September of 2024.[1]
Synopsis[edit]
Iron Family depicts warm love and fierce conflict between family members and provides an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of 'family' in modern society.

Development[edit]
The romantic black comedy family drama was written by Seo Sook-hyang, who wrote the ₩50 billion blockbuster drama Ask the Stars and directed by Seong Jun-hae, who directed Bravo, My Life (2022).[6][7] It was produced by KeyEast and Monster Union[6]
On June 23, 2024, it was reported that the series would drastically reduce the number of episodes to 36, breaking the existing method of producing mainly 50 episodes.[8]
