Maravillas is a 1981 Spanish drama film directed by Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón which stars Cristina Marcos as the title character alongside Fernando Fernán Gómez. It was entered into the 31st Berlin International Film Festival.

Plot

Set in Madrid, the plot follows Maravillas, a 15-year-old girl gifted with a ring by her Sephardic Jewish godfather Salomón on the day of her first communion.[1][2][3]

The film screened at the 31st Berlin International Film Festival in February 1981.[7] Distributed by Los Films del Búho.[8] the film was released theatrically in Spain on 26 February 1981.[9]
