Adèle of France, Countess of FlandersAdela of France – There is no need for disambiguation. Her sister, the only other person listed at Adela of France, is called Hedwig. While French princesses called Alice or Adelaide may also be known as Adela, the Countess of Flanders seems to be the clear primary topic of Adela of France.[1] The Latinized spelling Adela also reflects usage in English language sources,[2][3][4] as is common with saints and medieval royals. Marriage to a Norman does not make you Norman. It DOES make you whatever consort of whatever title that spouse might have, but it does NOT make you Norman. Ealdgyth - Talk 14:04, 25 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
