Incorrect

[edit]

The setting of the game is in the world of Lore, 5 years after AdventureQuest, 10 years after DragonFable, and 5,005 years after MechQuest. The universe of Adventure Quest Worlds came into being when Galanoth slew the Dragon of Time, leading all the stray storylines of the previous games to come together into one. However, the inhabitants are not aware of this change.

Drakath (first shown in DragonFable), the current antagonist, is attacking Lore through his 13 Chaos Lords, which forms the main plot. (He was offered to be a Champion of Chaos during the end of "The Sinister 7" quest in AdventureQuest.)

First of all, there has been no confirmation of how long its been since AQ, only that it is later than AQ. That makes the whole first sentence here wrong. Drakath first appeared in AQ, during the Fire War. And also, it's spelt AdventureQuest Worlds, not Adventure Quest Worlds. Harry Blue5 (talk) 07:05, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Major plot gaps

[edit]

I fixed the plot gaps of the Darkovia arc and made the addition of the Arcangrove arc. Can someone fill in the Mythsong arc? And the Dwarfhold arc is missing a little, not much as it is a minor. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Juwu7 (talkcontribs) 08:40, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think that all the required information is now done. Expanding on it too much anymore would result in the massive oversized-ness size it reached before, which was oversized. Harry Blue5 (talk) 18:16, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Separate article for plot

[edit]

I think a separate article can be made for the plot. It could include all of the info that was originally in the plot section from the main page. This way, details about the storyline of AdventureQuest Worlds can be easily viewed, without the headache that comes with reading it from an overly-inflated plot section. It would help people get a sense about what the game is about. Yiosie2356 (talk) 05:51, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The purpose of a plot section is not to describe step by step what happens(Person X goes to Y, says Z, and then turns around...) it's to give a concise summary. See WP:PLOT. Creating a new article with the long version would only be appropriate if, in the current article, the plot section was becoming disproportionately large. Eik Corell (talk) 07:18, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It WAS absurdly large, and the majority of the plot section was deleted because of that reason. Check the edit history. Yiosie2356 (talk) 18:56, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

But it was large because it was bloated in the sense I described above: Instead of a summary, it was a step-by-step description. Eik Corell (talk) 02:05, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I would have to agree wit User:Eik Corell. The plot was deleted for the reason stated above: It was a "Step by step" description instead of a summery. Plus, if people wanted to see everything about the AdventureQuest Worlds plot line, that is why they have the AQ Worlds Wiki (Sorry I don't have a link for it... *Sad face*).
