No consensus to move. After much-extended time for discussion, there is no consensus for a move at this time. BD2412 T 03:29, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Barn theatre is just a redirect to Barn theatre (disambiguation). No incoming links Special:WhatLinksHere/Barn theatre] showing some special meanings. MrKeefeJohn (talk) 08:45, 17 January 2023 (UTC)— Relisting. —usernamekiran (talk) 03:52, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The article was moved after my request, if I'm not wrong. MrKeefeJohn (talk) 15:27, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, this was an administrative move back to an article where there had been an undiscussed page move. That caused this request to be malformed, which has been remedied above. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'r there 18:25, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And I moved it back. It is the title I selected duing article creation, see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Theatre#Barn theatre for reason.Lokys dar Vienas (talk) 20:44, 17 January 2023 (UTC).[reply]

"Partial matches' removal

[edit]

Not all patrtial matches are unconditionally removed. Please see page Lincoln. It contains

Thgis because thesse things are commonly colloquially known as "Lincoln": "He studies at lincoln". Same here: "Camelot at Barn Theatre today". Lokys dar Vienas (talk) 19:24, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There is no evidence that these things are known as "Barn Theatre" in everyday parlance. For example, Sewell Barn Theatre is called "Sewell Barn" when shortened in the article, not "Barn Theatre". Its webpage notes that performances are done by "The Sewell Barn Company" and the organization supporting it is called "Friends of the Sewell Barn". It's pretty clear this is not known as "Barn Theatre". The other cases are similar. I will not revert again (unless for readdition of Bluebarn Theatre, which is not even titled "Barn Theatre" at all), but this is objectively different from something like "Lincoln College". OK, you convinced me: there must be a reliable evidence of the usage of the shortened term. So I self-reverted them. Lokys dar Vienas (talk) 01:20, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, per "Sewell Barn" ; on a similar vein, sources show that several of these theatres are called simply "The Barn", such as The Barn Theatre. Do you think in makes sense to add them into the page Barn (disambiguation)? Lokys dar Vienas (talk) 01:25, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
