B-Class Comments

[edit]

The first section of this article (Prelude) is only sourced at one point (where it references the size of the reservation). This pattern is repeated in subsequent sections, making the origin of some information unclear. The "Truce Party" section is the best-sourced, and it would be good to see the article reach that standard. My preference is one cite per paragraph, especially when names and dates are used.

Another issue is the sourcing itself. Two of the three web sources (the WildWest article and McDermott's work) are no longer available. Since McDermott's is heavily-used, I considered this important.

Somehow (probably in the cut/past operation to add the B-Class Template) the supporting materials were marked as 'n.' This is incorrect, and I'm fixing that. The article does in fact have great supporting materials. Intothatdarkness 21:57, 26 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Definitely not even close to B-class, sources OK as far as they go, but not nearly enough footnotes. Basically, B-class means no unsourced sections, decent prose, but just not quite ready for GA review. Montanabw(talk) 00:52, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
