Is it appropriate to cite this reference for her date of death?

[edit]

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7781593/ is an article reviewing the evidence for learning in single-celled organisms, and reviews Gelber's work. One part of the paper states:

"Gelber’s subsequent career is hard to track after the lapse of years. [...] She died in 1991. The Wikipedia entry on her arose from our enquiries."

Is it appropriate to cite this paper for her date of death, given that this Wikipedia page may have originated from research efforts undertaken to write this paper? Saint Aardvark (talk) 17:36, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
