Town hall → City hall

[edit]

Hello all- I am planning to move this article back to Bremen City Hall, and have placed a template on that page (currently a redirect) requesting it be freed up for me to do so. For a municipality the size of Bremen, the prevalent English term is "city hall", not "town hall". And in any case, "townhall" is not an English word. Eric talk 17:32, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Just fancy, according to Cassell's German–English and English–German dictionary, the first choice is "townhall", while "city hall" is marked as an Americanism.--Ulamm (talk) 15:42, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Meanwhile an Englishman, who lives in Bremen, has told me that he only knows the separate writing "town hall". So I've corrected the article that way.--Ulamm (talk) 16:03, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Images

[edit]

I love Bremen City Hall, I happen to walk past it every day, but 18 (!) images seems like overkill for such a relatively short article. At least most of them should be moved to the gallery to make the text portion more readable. -- Imladros (talk) 19:14, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
