Snow Crash

[edit]

I tried adding a mention to Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash in the trvia section of the article and I noticed it keeps getting deleted for being "speculative, not encyclopedic". There's a few connections that, regardless of whether they have been mentioned by the creators or not, are valid. Case in point: Both are named Hiro, and both happen to be puns. Not only because they happen to be the protagonists of their respective stories, but they're both on a "hero's" journey in order to stop a cataclysmic event (in Heroes, it's the nuclear explosion. In Snow Crash, its a virus that can bring down the Metaverse. Both are highly suggested to have traumatic effects in their worlds) - Krig himself mentioned such a thing in TV Guide. Also, both wield katana, which might've simply been coincidental if the aforementioned connections aren't considered. -- Nick_thesaint 13:08 19 January 2006 (UTC)

Provide a citation, then make it non-trivial (WP:AVTRIV) thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 21:13, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

C'est fini

[edit]

Okay, I expanded it, but it still needs to be wikied. Anyone else wanna take a stab at it? It's late and I'm tired.Toquinha 07:02, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Screencap

[edit]

Can someone please upload a different screencap? Maybe something along the lines of Future Hiro or something? I still get freaked out a bit by seeing Claire's body cut open on the autopsy table... --GhostStalker 05:53, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was kinda thinking the same thing. The whole need for episode by episode screencaps in an encyclepedia—specifically episode lists—escapes me, but I get the feeling they don't have to be that graphic. I'll remove it for now and add it to Claire's article, noting the comments here. Ace Class Shadow; My talk. 06:48, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
First WP:CENSOR - Secondly if you dont like it, dont look at it.. if you'd like use the "Upload a new fiel" feature on its image page to upload a new version but you not liking it is not criteria to orphan an image. thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 07:23, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a bunch... --GhostStalker 12:30, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Opening Montage

[edit]

Though this probably sounds inappropriate for this type of discussion, what's the name of the song that is played in the opening montage of the show? It should be added into the main or trivia section of the article (well, that, and I find the song to be catchy). Vidgmchtr 03:31, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's "Eyes" by Rogue Wave. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 03:50, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Wow. Thanks. Vidgmchtr 04:20, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia

[edit]

The mysterious symbol, seen throughout the series, is only on Niki's back. When Mr. Bennet and the mysterious man come into their apartment to "take one of them", the symbol is gone.

Am I wrong or does the symbol only appear on her back when Jessica takes over? Goroliath

Plot cleanup

[edit]

The section needs to be trimmed ASAP. Focus on the main plot elements, not a scene-by-scene recap of the episode. See WP:NOT#IINFO for the official policy against plot summaries. --Madchester 18:47, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't appear to be scene-by-scene to me and so I've de-tagged it. thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 18:52, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Plot

[edit]

In my humble opinion, the plot was far, far too long for a wikipedia article, so I shortened it as best as I could. Lots42 11:54, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
