About the title

[edit]

I just created this page with the title "Consumer import of prescription drugs", which I think is clear. Lots of papers talk about this concept but I do not think it has any particular name. Blue Rasberry (talk) 23:25, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the created title of the page is good given the content of the information. With the information provided in the article it is generally covering the topic of consumer imports over prescription drugs. Following the content of the title and causes section, I think it would be best to restructure the content of this article. The claims are still natural but the viewpoints of other countries are underrepresented. It might be best to included it together possibly or provide more information on that section. Poor sourcing

[edit]

I have not found any fundamental paper which talks about this concept broadly. Lots of papers talk about it in the context of discussing how two countries have different prescription drug prices and laws, and various people start seeking their medicine outside of their own country.

To make a base for any discussion about a particular case I started this article about the general concept. I think most academic papers which have been published on this topic talk about how people in the United States access drugs in Canada, but actually, there is lots of research on this in many contexts.

I cited some papers but I feel like I did not identify the fundamental papers describing this concept. If anyone has ideas for better sourcing then share. Blue Rasberry (talk) 23:25, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
