Green Lantern: The Animated Series DC Nation preview

[edit]

See the scenes for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPbWJ7acBh4 Alucardbarnivous (talk) 23:53, 12 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Can you find a similar scene but on the official YouTube channel for Cartoon Network? That video is quite probably a copyright vio and cannot be used as a source on WP. Ravensfire (talk) 03:10, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That's why I didn't use it as a source and referenced the national broadcast. Alucardbarnivous (talk) 07:55, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Also, forgot to add, the preview was not posted on CN's YouTube channel. Alucardbarnivous (talk) 08:01, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Episodes

[edit]

For episodes, should we identify each short as a single episode or group together those aired on the same day? For the premier, there was also the Green Arrow boxing glove arrow demonstration by Anthony De Longis. Also, should we include the preview that played with the Green Lantern sneak peak a while back (Batman and Teen Titans)? Alucardbarnivous (talk) 06:06, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should list each type of short grouped together, with its date. So we'd have all the Teen Titan ones with their dates, all the Aardman ones with their dates, and so on. The interstitials, though, like Green Arrow's boxing glove arrow, the Batarang, and the Batmobile, I'd group all together.
Also, it looks like the Teen Titans short "Movies" is missing from the list ([1]). - Lisa (talk - contribs) 16:51, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Shorts

[edit]

We have a bunch of uncited shorts making it into the article. Should we begin removing them? Alucardbarnivous (talk) 23:56, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This site has numerous air dates for shorts, but seems to only have the animated shorts. The demonstration shorts don't seem to be there. I'm not sure where there's a good, comprehensive listing of this information. KeenIIDX (talk) 01:49, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

What about the shorts that aired in November and December?

Sub-series = No

[edit]

Regarding this and this... "sub-series" is not a thing. And though @DoctorHver: had every right to boldly give it a try, I object to him restoring it (reverting me) without explanation. I made a compromise for now by using "Series" alone rather than "Shorts".— TAnthonyTalk 23:40, 16 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

According to this correct spelling of sub-series is subseries, http://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/subseries — Preceding unsigned comment added by DoctorHver (talkcontribs) 00:12, September 17, 2015
What I mean is that the term, no matter how you spell it, is not something we typically use in television articles, and in this case it is particularly misleading/incorrect in a couple of ways. Primarily because many of the shorts, though they use DC characters, are not based on or connected to actual series. To say nothing of parody shorts like Farm League. This why the article is called DC Nation Shorts and not DC Nation Subseries. I admit that it's an odd situation, but simply Shorts or Series are more appropriate than Subseries.— TAnthonyTalk 03:09, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Shorts

[edit]

There seem to be a decent number of shorts missing from the list. For example, there appears to be enough evidence that there were at least 17 or 18 New Teen Titans shorts, not just 10. I don't know if there are any others missing, but given that fact, it might be possible. Alphius (talk) 08:51, 13 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
