Official website

[edit]

The link to the official website for Dubai Marina doesn't work. I've tried it from a variety of different browsers but it all says that the browser can't open the page. It has something to do with the page that it tries to open, however. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.122.185.241 (talk) 04:24, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Triggered by \bdesignbuild-network\.com\b on the local blacklist

Proposed merge of Dubai Marina Mall into Dubai Marina

Article has no content not already on main article. None of the sources are substantive coverage of the mall itself rather than the Marina. Reywas92Talk 08:41, 6 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose Don't merge. This merge discussion comes directly after a sudden redirect 12/6/2019 from Reywas92 without any discussion. The mall is one of the main shopping centers in the emirate of Dubai. The article Dubai Marina Mall is well sourced with additional photographs: it serves our readers to have a well designed separate article. Lightburst (talk) 14:32, 6 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • It serves readers well to have a page with zero information that isn't already at Dubai Marina? Weird. Can you specify which of these sources (a) is unable to be provided to the reader in the main article or (b) is actually dedicated to the mall rather than the Marina? Is there a reason this one additional photo can't go at Dubai_Marina#Gallery? Reywas92Talk 20:27, 6 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
