Flag

[edit]

I went into the sources stated for the flag. Acording to the source, the flag used in the article is called Duchy of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorp Civil Ensign 1696-1720 and further explains its fairly limited ammount of usage and also how it was used in Schleswig (Which was a seperate political entity), and also only by the Gottorps. To me this seems a bit historically inaccurate to put as a civil ensign for the whole duchy. Also not to mention the other official and de facto flags the website mentions, which is possible options for an alternative and more historical right flag.

I want to hear other peoples opinions about this. Please share. - Tinkaer1991 (talk) 22:49, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
