Adults are found in the small intestine of the host.

Wrong species-name

The correct name for E. oligarthrus is E. oligarthra. This is based on the original description by Diesing 1863 as Taenia oligarthra. the name oligarthrus is used falsely for many years now, but most of the newer publications have changed it to the correct spelling.
