Spelling

[edit]

Editor Aviad2001 has been systematically changing the spelling of this word and associated articles. But every reference I've found (both Italian and English, both general language and cuisine-specific) spells this word fettuccine (two t's, two c's). Google search gives fettuccine::fettucine 3:1 on the general Web, 18:1 on the Italian Web. I will ask him to revert. --macrakis (talk) 22:40, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is it spelled fettuccini or fettuccine? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.207.0.176 (talk) 23:23, 20 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As the article says, fettuccine. --Macrakis (talk) 00:23, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
And I guess in this instance we can trust our fellow editors at the Italian wp. Although they don't have a full article about "fettuccine" they use this spelling in every article they use it. Also I myself would confirm it and must say that I never ever saw it written as "fettucine" and for good reasons I'd say.TMCk (talk) 02:24, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
As Italian (and Roman) contributor of the English Wikipedia I fully confirm, the right spelling is fettuccine :-) ciao, Alex2006 (talk) 06:47, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
