Speedy Deletion

[edit]

Keep. I find this speedy deletion nomination very unfounded.. There are 634 branches of GameCrazy in the United States. It contributes to 13% of Movie Gallery's total profits (Movie Gallery being the second largest rental chain in the world). The article contains no advertising language, simply information about the company, its products, and the market. It is a stub and could use some expansion. - ZG 16:28, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why is this not mentioned in the article then? - Tiswas(t) 16:32, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've added it. ZG 16:50, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Training Video

[edit]

Someone should edit this article to include a section about the utterly horrible training video that was leaked onto the Internet. Here's Spoony's parody track of it. --60.241.145.9 (talk) 13:25, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

All Closed Now

[edit]

This article need to given a thorough top-to-bottom re-write (I'm not going to do it) with citations and such. The stores are now all closed and no longer owned nor managed by Movie Gallery under any capacity. The stores are managed by the liquidation company. 24.48.160.108 (talk) 18:15, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

http://www.gamecrazy.com/ Their site doesn't look Anything like the article claims it looks like... So I don't see how that constitutes "defunct" if they're claiming they're coming back. Shardok (talk) 02:01, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

not all of the stores are closed the 2 stores in salem oregon remain open. perhaps that should be mentioned — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.184.243.39 (talk) 23:20, 16 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Down to one store?

[edit]

The article says that there are two Game Crazy outlets open. Assuming that statement was true when written, they may actually be down to one - the Game Crazy in Salem was heavily damaged in a fire on 12/31/12. No word yet on if they'll reopen. Looks doubtful. They've indeed reopened. And that store has decided to be a hobby store for cards and board games now too. Hilariously enough, the fire probably Helped their business.Shardok (talk) 20:09, 1 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
