More diversity

[edit]

The article needs work. Currently it appears to mainly represent East coast historical societies in the United States (I did swap out the main image of the Rhode Island Historical Society with the Washington State Historical Society - so that helps). The article needs not only more of a world view but also needs to go beyond place based historical societies and include information on others such as Ethnographic, Topical, and Biographical historical societies. Rebuild of article

[edit]

The previous article was focused on details of US east coast historical organizations and did not offer a comprehensive view of the subject. Article definitely still can use more work but good for now. Myotus (talk) 03:56, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
