Motorola Xoom Comparison

[edit]

The Motorola Xoom uses an NVIDIA Tegra 2 T20 Dual Core processor at 1Ghz, as opposed to the Dual Core A5 mentioned. So, I deleted that information.

GLONASS

[edit]

Please, add information about new GLONASS signal reception (adio-based satellite navigation system operated for the Russian government by the Russian Space Forces; it is an alternative and complement to the United States' Global Positioning System (GPS)). S0me1 (talk)

Move

[edit]

What was the rationale behind moving this page along with the rest of the iPhone "s" articles? Unlike the other ones, the iPhone 4S was originally named with an uppercase "S"; switching to lowercase was a retroactive, stylistic name change. Wikipedia doesn't generally conform to retroactive name changes (emphasis on this being retroactive) or branding stylizations, especially when the original name continues to be widely preferred (its usage declined after the name change but remained more popular nonetheless). See also WP:NAMECHANGES, which isn't exactly about retroactive changes, but it's the same logic. It also doesn't seem appropriate for the closer to say A small amount of opposition did emerge around the 4s title [...] but this opinion does not seem to have swayed the consensus. If there was opposition to this article in particular that was firmly grounded in policy (WP:COMMONNAME), the closer should have concluded that there was consensus to move iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, and iPhone 6s, but not iPhone 4s. RMs are not all-or-nothing and do not have to end with consensus to move or not move all the articles listed. InfiniteNexus (talk) 01:52, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
