Clothing brand

[edit]

A new page around the clothing brand Aeronautica Militate should be created.

Typhoons

[edit]

There is NO WAY that the Italian air force has 120 Typhoons. So many have not been made in the whole world. I understand that this is the plan, but it is not yet reality (and probably will never be, budget cuts being what they are).

Table

[edit]

Panavia Tornado made in italy ?? there is mistakes in the table , it needs a review i think Ammar (Talk - Don't Talk) 12:37, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Italian Tornados were assembled in Caselle, Italy. MilborneOne 20:41, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Royal Air Force

[edit]

I have changed "Royal Air Force" to "Regia Aeronautica", as for almost all English-speakers, Royal Air Force explicitly refers to the air force of the United Kingdom. —Preceding unsigned comment added by CMarshall (talkcontribs) 10:10, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Aeronautica MilitareItalian Air Force — Per WP:MILMOS#Units, formations, and bases: "Root pages for the armed forces of a state are named, if the official name is known, by the official name's English translation (for example, "Australian Defence Force"). If the native language name is most commonly used, this should be kept (for example, "Bundeswehr")." I do not believe Aeronautica Militare meets the standard of being "commonly used", and is piped to show the English name in most articles. Note that Italian Air Force already redirects to Aeronautica Militare, and that the army article is at Italian Army. - BilCat (talk) 19:31, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File:RF-104G 3th Wing.jpg

[edit]

File:RF-104G 3th Wing.jpg Is it well named? Should it be added to this article? Is there a source? --Diwas (talk) 21:10, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is clumsily named, but it definitely is a 3rd Wing aircraft. See here. Mayor of Yurp (talk) 22:13, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Should it be moved to File:RF-104G 3rd Wing.jpg? --Diwas (talk) 00:27, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't disagree with doing that. Mayor of Yurp (talk) 00:37, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

So what became of World War I?

[edit]

History skips from 1911 to 1923. Italian aviation was quite active in World War I, but you would never know it by this iteration of the article.

Update to this page

[edit]

The AMX was just retired in the Italian Air Force as of today. This probably needs an update 82.10.186.58 (talk) 17:03, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
