I can find nothing about the 1987 event, not even to confirm the winner.

1989 to 1991 were OWGR events but surprisingly difficult to find online information. https://www.europeantour.com/challenge-tour/ivory-coast-open-1992/results?round=4 has the scores for 1991. The positions for 1990 are here: https://www.europeantour.com/challenge-tour/ivory-coast-open-1991/results?round=4 but no scores. https://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/search/results?basicsearch=%22ivory%20coast%20open%22%20pincent comes up with "Llewellyn in the Ivory Coast Open championship at the President's Club. Yamoussoukro, writes Colin Farquhanon. Llewellyn picked up the £13,643 first prize with a 13- under-par aggregate of 275 He won by two shots from England’s Jeff Pincent." OWGR should be of some use but http://www.owgr.com/en/Events/EventResult.aspx?eventid=822 gives Oliver Thomson as the runner-up in 1990. Clearly there's a problem with the data here "Oliver Thomson" is actually "Jeff Pincent" at least in this period: see http://www.owgr.com/en/Ranking/PlayerProfile.aspx?playerID=3555 . For 1989 http://www.owgr.com/en/Ranking/PlayerProfile.aspx?playerID=3555 gives "Oliver Thomson" as the runner-up to Vijay Singh. The fact that the runner-up was actually Jeff Pincent is confirmed by https://www.sandylodge.co.uk/in-arena-virtus/141/ which says "Fox was succeeded by Jeff Pinsent, ... He was twice runner-up to Vijay Singh (in the Nigerian and Ivory Coast Opens)" As ever confirming that the OWGR data needs to be taken with a big pinch of salt.
