Track 15

[edit]

Shouldn't it be called "Yahoos and Triangles"? onyx321 13:13, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Why would it be called that when Allmusic calls it "King of the Hill Theme"? Status {talkcontribs 00:21, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Both: You mean that the entry for track #15 should be that - right? Not the title of this article. Our page on The Refreshments (US band) states that Yahoos and Triangles "was a piece the band traditionally performed at soundchecks." That being the case, this music had this title and was performed perhaps four years before it was ever used at the theme for the cartoon - hence it is definitely the correct title for it. However, calling it just "Yahoos and Triangles" would undoubtedly confuse almost everyone who came to this page - so without question we must describe it as the theme song for the cartoon even if it had another name. The solution (which I have already applied to the article) is obviously to list both titles: "King of the Hill Theme (Yahoos and Triangles)" - which both describes it and names it.
