"Florida Shelf"

Is this anything more than just a casual name for the submerged western section of the Florida Platform? Should the link redirect to the article Florida Platform which should discuss "Florida Shelf"? --Wetman (talk) 15:50, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's a good idea as long as the platform article has something to say about it. Maybe a new section/subsection in the platform article? Could probably insert a 'Submerged Portion' subsection into the Geology section.
