Is Wookiepedia a "good enough" reliable source for a birthdate?

[edit]

@Nightscream @Packer1028 I found a citation for the birth date on Wookieepedia. I know most fandom sites are not considered WP:RS but I was under the impression that Wookieepedia and Memory Alpha were exceptions. As a newbie, I can't be sure. I managed to create internal links to both of these sites. I also created the "birth date" internal link in the first sentence of this paragraph by simply typing "birth date", selecting the text, clicking on the link tool and pasting: "https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Leinil_Francis_Yu" in it. Trying to do the same for Harry Potter on the other hand results in an external link which seems to indicate there is some difference between those fandom sites. @Annette Maon: Unfortunately, websites w/ user-generated info, including other wikis, IMDb, Patch Media, etc. are not considered reliable under WP:USERG, which is part of the Reliable Sources policy. Sorry. Nightscream (talk) 14:55, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
