Requested move

[edit]

Light elfLight elves — after much research the light elves and dark elves are plural in original Eddic texts, they hardly ever travel alone and the original Norse word is plural. There are existing redirects the admin will need to clear. I cannot move the pages myself without hurting the page histories. Thank you for your consideration in advance. This article has been renamed from light elf to light elves as the result of a move request. --Stemonitis 10:08, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an important page?

[edit]

The main elf page is very broad (and concentrates on English elf). I think we need to have an Eddic elf article (this page), especially as "light elf" is the Proto-elf of all elves and parellel to dark elf (so people can toggle back and forth between light elf and dark elf). Picture

[edit]

Couldn't there be a more apropriete main picture? Maybe one that actually depicts a light elf? I'm by no means an expert, or really well informed on the subject of either Norse mythology or elves in general, I was mearly browsing pages and thought it might be a good idea for some one more familier with the subject. Yes that would be nice, I could not find a free picture of a light elf, could you? Goldenrowley (talk) 00:45, 4 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No, but as I said I know next to nothing about this subject, and I wouldn't know the difference between a light elf and any other elf picture if I saw one. KearF (talk) 12:16, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If someone would point me to the instructions on how to upload pictures to Wikipedia, I could make a picture myself. Would that be acceptable? Vultur (talk) 13:52, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
