Deserves more info

[edit]

There is some good info on this in Luttwack's "Grand Strategy of the Roman Empire" in his coverage of the Limes. I will try and add some more info later today - PocklingtonDan 12:23, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Where and how long

[edit]

"Mostly in the province of Arabia Petraea" and 1500 km long cannot be, Ar. P.'s eastern border was only a few hundred km long and never reached into northern Syria, but the limes did. A wrong definition makes the whole article worthless.
