Oklahoma City bombing

[edit]

I'm not convinced that the Oklahoma City bombing should be included on this list. First, it wasn't an action wherein one group came into armed conflict with another group. It was simply someone parking a large, explosive device in front of a federal building and setting it to detonate. Now I'm certain that it could be argued that one consequence was intended to be an armed uprising against the federal government, but that did not happen. I simply want to get a discussion started about this piece of history being included on the list and arrive at a consensus. I am certainly open to having my mind changed. 2nd Battle of Cabin Creek should be added (1864)

I am reluctant to add it because I am Cherokee and some editors say this would violate COI rules. Phil Konstantin (talk) 22:07, 8 September 2020 (UTC) Phil Konstantin[reply]

I totally disagree about any COI in this instance. You're simply adding a factual battle to the list, so please do add it. Spacini (talk) 22:24, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
