Love it - thank you. It bothered me how spammy the list was in Nomad. One small thing is bugging me, which is that "List of nomadic people" technically means a list of every person who is a nomad. Wouldn't the grammatically correct form be "List of nomadic peoples", where "a people" is a singular noun meaning a cultural/ethnic group (as in People)? ~ Kimelea (talk) 17:10, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OK, formally proposing it, and will move the page if unopposed. ~ Kimelea (talk) 21:45, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Surely one who did so in good faith, and was not quite as pedantic as me. :D ~ Kimelea (talk) 00:16, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Who are the Tunodo/Breton Travellers?

[edit]

I've found mentions of them on here and on the list of indigenous peoples, though I can't find other references to them on the English internet (maybe I missed something obvious). I found mentions of them on the French Wikipedia page for Tunodo, https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunodo, though it says a citation is needed. Earliest edit mentioning them dates back to this edit. Two edits related to them have been reverted in the past, though information about them seems to have been put back on the page years ago. So my question is who are they? Do they exist? Perhaps they're some obscure European itinerant ethnic group that's barely mentioned outside of local newspapers. We've seen it before with the English Travellers (these ones, not the Romanichal). ~Red of Arctic Circle System (talk) 16:53, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The information seems to have been added to French Wikipedia by a troll according to the Talk page. Going to remove Breton Travellers from here and List of indigenous peoples until further sources are given. ~Cherri of Arctic Circle System (talk) 17:27, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
