Title

[edit]

Why is the title so specific? Was there another massacre during another month of 1997? Lapsed Pacifist (talk) 18:02, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is a link to a BBC article contending that Osama Bin Laden provided funding for this attack. Was this ever "proven"? Should this be mentioned in the article?

Total Deaths?

[edit]

The article "Terrorism in Egypt" said 62, this article said 63. This article said 59 tourists, where every new source cited said 58. In the list of nationalities, the total numbers added to 60, even. I watched the Phil Day documentary on this, made in 2002 (long enough to get an accurate count) and they mentioned the same list, except the Wikipedia list added "one French . . . and a dual-national Bulgarian/British". Since the discrepancy was 2, this seemed appropriate to remove. If anyone can provide a source to the contrary, they can go back.--Vox Rationis (Talk | contribs) 04:38, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fate of the gunmen

[edit]

After the suicide paragraph, the next section contradicts that and says they were killed by law enforcement, and sources an article that doesn't even say anything about that law-enforcement-killing thing so I removed it. 12.39.179.62 (talk) 22:55, 20 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
