Mobile?

When'd he quit being Mental? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.119.15.245 (talk) 06:53, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This might actually be my fault. I read the "Mobile Organism Devoted Only to Killing" somewhere and it stuck in my head, even though that version of the acronym is not, so far as I know, ever corroborated in any of the comics he appears in. In the original use of the acronym (In Captain America #133), it literally says "Mental organism designed only for killing" (NB - Not "computing") but that was retconned later. - Salkafar, 27/12/´09 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.168.81.43 (talk) 23:30, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Modok's Armor/Carcass

[edit]

Just like to point out that Modok's remains can be found in Earth X. It seems to be Franklin Richard's "throne" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.198.153.148 (talk) 08:56, 16 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Skull´s throne, you mean. Franklin Richards is barely seen in the series, and when he is, it is as Galactus. - Salkafar, jan 5 2010 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.168.81.43 (talk) 22:38, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Novels

[edit]

Modok 1.5 was heavily featured as the antagonist of the IronMan novel, Operation Aim. Where he used adaptoids to do his dirty work in building an otherworldly energy chip. He was stopped by Black Panther, Ironman, Captain America, and War Machine. The novel was a sequel to the previous IronMan Novel, the Armor Trap. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.88.183.160 (talk) 10:16, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Severe pruning

[edit]

Why are the entries on the alternative MODOKs pruned so ruthlessly? Is there a lack of room on the page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.168.81.43 (talk) 22:56, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mobile, not Mental

[edit]

Just like to point out, according to marvel.com, M.O.D.O.K stands for Mobile Organism Designed Only for Killing, not Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bonkers The Clown (talkcontribs) 04:36, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Strange episode in the Super Hero Squad show

[edit]

There is an episode in the first season of the Super Hero Squad show where Modok is being captured by Ms. Marvel, who is then hit by a love blast and instantly falls in love with him. She smooches him really fast over and over. The episode is called "Mental Organism Designed Only for Kisses' (Ew!) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.15.45.26 (talk) 21:33, 2 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

@107.15.45.26 The Virginian S5 Ep19 The Modoc Kid aired 02/01/1967, 7 months before Stan Lee created MODOK. it's too late to ask SL so I'll leave it at that. 2600:8800:709E:3F00:C4BC:2AF7:FC5C:3D58 (talk) 04:44, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
