Does he have any brother?

[edit]

If so can it be added? Fatima talk 13:51, 1 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Confusion in name

[edit]

Is his first name 'Mohnish' or 'Monish' and is his surname 'Behl' or 'Bahl'? Centaur81 (talk) 08:02, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not anymore
Ok, I did some research and found 'Mohnish' 's (not Monish) official Facebook page and it confirms that his name is 'Mohnish Bahl' (not Behl). It is therefore recommended, and proposed by me, that this page be deleted and a new page entitled 'Mohnish Bahl' be created. Centaur81 (talk) 13:37, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
An interesting find: the page Mohnish Bahl exists but redirects to this page! Why? Centaur81 (talk) 13:57, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Why is his mother's and father's surname Behl? I just added a source on the father's death. --Why should I have a User Name? (talk) 23:43, 31 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Unnecessary redirect

[edit]

It was found that a redirect was carried out to this page from the correct page Mohnish Bahl by User:Dr. Blofeld for reasons not known. I tried contacting him but got no response. This page must be moved back to Mohnish Bahl and the current page Mohnish Behl should be marked for deletion. Centaur81 (talk) 06:32, 15 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Since a direct move is not possible anymore, a Technical move has been requested by me here: Wikipedia:Requested moves#Requesting_technical_moves Centaur81 (talk) 07:10, 15 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mohnish, in case you're reading this, I got it done! Centaur81 (talk) 07:39, 15 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

More information please

[edit]

Calling all editors who hold any iota of interest in this article...

This article is terribly in need of more information in the following sections:

  • Life (expansion needed)
  • Career (new section needed)

If this article continues to remain the stub that it is, it is not a matter of time before it becomes an AFD.

Any suggestions anybody?

File:Mohnish Bahl.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

[edit]
An image used in this article, File:Mohnish Bahl.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

'Controversies' section deleted without consensus...???

[edit]

The 'Controversies' section which maintained a neutral POV in this article was deleted by User:Youreallycan. I had cited a news report that appeared in the Bombay Times which the user claims is a weak source. The section was removed without gathering consensus for deletion of the section on this page. I strongly oppose this deletion and request that the action be rolled back and that the user post a dispute notice on this page. See also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard#Mohnish_Bahl_.28Behl.29 Centaur81 (talk) 17:22, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Since the 'controversy' did exist, I have felt the need to mention it in the section 'Life and work'. I don't think this is as contentious as issue as is being made out to be. My views have been expressed as non-POV and neutral having cited two different reports in two independent newspapers as well as Mr. Bahl's own stated reason. Since Mr. Bahl hasn't yet been public about the real reason for his exit we assume that he quit due a bad back. This has been included by me in the new paragraph. Centaur81 (talk) 07:50, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I request that before the new paragraph introduced by me is deleted, a dispute/NPOV tag be added to the page or section. Let other editors check for NPOV. Centaur81 (talk) 08:19, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I had cited another article from the Deccan Herald http://www.deccanchronicle.com/channels/showbiz/tv-guide/mohnish-will-be-back-sony-949 which was removed by I don't know who. This can be confirmed if one checks the article's revision history around 2-3 March 2012. Centaur81 (talk) 08:33, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
