First foothill of the Dublin mountains

I don't think that this can be supported. The Dublin mountains are still quite a distance away. The nearest point wuld be Stepaside. The Wicklow way starts at Marley Park, but even at that point, I don't think that you could claim to be in the foothills of the Dublin mountains. You might just as well claim that the first sandbar on Sandymount strand commences the march to Lugnaquilla. I think that this dubious claim should be deleted. The notable people section needs to be referenced to show that they did live there. I don't believe Eamon De Valera ever lived in Mount Merrion. DubhEire (talk) 09:19, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
