Sections

[edit]

I'm thinking about adding sections for each library, particularly emphasizing the Main. A history section would be good as well. Paul Haymon 22:50, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Are there any available reference materials for this information? — Emiellaiendiay 00:56, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There's pamphlets and the like. Paul Haymon 02:22, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Cool. I'll look around for some. — Emiellaiendiay 02:35, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Redirects

[edit]

Redirects need to be added from pages like Oakland public library, assuming this page survives. Paul Haymon 22:50, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done. — Emiellaiendiay 00:56, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Glad to see someone helping out. Paul Haymon 02:23, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Goals

[edit]
  • Add photo. I have a crappy one of the Piedmont Ave. branch we can use for now, but we should get a better one in the future. Preferably of the main branch. Even better would one of each branch.
  • Add background on the library's history, as discussed by Paul Haymon.
  • Provide at least as much information as the Berkeley Public Library article does.

Add more suggestions if you wish.

Emiellaiendiay 02:35, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I think those are reasonable. Maybe I can get a picture of the main library. Paul Haymon 05:10, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and here's another one: adding recent news about the libaries. There have been issues with funding and such. I'll try to look up some articles on it. — Emiellaiendiay 07:11, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Improvement

[edit]

What exactly does it take for an article about a public library to become good/featured? I haven't found any examples of excellent library articles. Paul Haymon 02:51, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
