Do students still actively want the Indian back? I was there when it changed... there was drama at the time but I'd be surprised if it's still an issue almost 10 years later. Dabrowskia (talk) 00:40, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Alumni

[edit]

We rarely add alumni to school lists unless they have Wikipedia articles to show their notability and references to show their attendance. An exception may be made when the person is clearly notable enough to qualify for an article if one were written, but Jim Griffin does not qualify. There is no source to show his attendance, he has no article, and there is no reference to support any of the various versions of his supposed claims to notability tried by user:Grifcapital2 . The link is just a DAB page that does not mention this person. WP:WTAF or leave it alone. Meters (talk) 01:03, 12 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Including various mobile IPs there have been 8 attempts to add this person since this August.. Switching to a named account is not going to help. Multiple warnings for adding non-notable list entries, unsourced material, and edit warring have had no effect. The next step is asking for page protection or blocks. Five years later, multiple blocked accounts, and still ongoing. Meters (talk) 22:08, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Make that six years, since this has been going on since at least Aug 2018. Meters (talk) 22:12, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And now under 2 years of pending changes protection. Meters (talk) 22:27, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
