Rumor of Saratoga Race Course Closure

[edit]

It was not a rumor, Saratoga Race Course as well as it's neighboring track Saratoga Raceway did closed on August 2, 2006 due to the excessive heat, I refer you to an article in the Troy Record Newspaper. Misterrick 03:25, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

Question Re: "TV Personalities"

[edit]

Can someone explain what this section has to do with Saratoga Race Course? (Not being facetious, I really don't know.) It just lists seemingly random TV personalities, with no reference to their association with the track. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ScottEKelly (talkcontribs) 01:44, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WP:PTB Importance

[edit]

From looking at the assessment page, it seems that this should be mid-importance, at the very least. Does someone in the project have any thoughts? Listroiderbobtalk'tribs 22:52, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The sentence about it being the graveyard of champions should be changed to graveyard of favorites. 2601:883:8082:8A60:6097:D809:F35:4887 (talk) 16:17, 13 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The page is wrong

[edit]

Even with the reference to the sub 6 it states “The Saratoga meet started as a four-day affair in 1863. It grew to 24 race days in 1962, 30 in 1991, 34 in 1994 and 36 in 1997”

The wiki page does not include these dates and changes and could lead a person to think there were no changes in between the dates. 24.194.227.7 (talk) 03:36, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
