Agreement vs. Contract

[edit]

The statement that "there can be no 'agreement' between third parties; these agreements are simply 'contracts'" is nonsense. First, any parties can have an agreement. Second, the very definition of "contract" is an agreement between two or more parties.

Although this sentence as given is clearly wrong, I have not stricken or rewritten it because I don't know the author's intention. Perhaps there is a valid point about SLA's that the author was trying to make, but phrased it wrong. I have marked the sentence with a "citation needed" flag for now, but someone who knows more than I about SLA's and third parties should either correct or delete this sentence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ScribeMonk (talkcontribs) 18:06, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
