I have been so bold to remove the repulsive link to the Attasiyya order since it had absolutely no relevance + I would like to link up in safety to information about the Shadhili order.(Tanjy 14:28, 9 January 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Khalwatiya was different subject=removed.(84.193.164.8 13:50, 10 January 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Parts of this article plagiarizes and is drawn from my web page, without citing it as a source: http://www.uga.edu/islam/sufismorders.html#Shadhili

The following section was completely stolen (note the omission of the "4" on pp. 21-24):

Here is what the wiki article says: "The 'Alawiya order in Yemen has recently been studied by the anthropologist David Buchman. In his article "The Underground Friends of God and Their Adversaries: A Case Study and Survey of Sufism in Contemporary Yemen", Professor Buchman summarizes the results of his six month period of fieldwork in Yemen. The article was originally published in the journal Yemen Update, vol. 39 (1997), pp. 21-2"

Here is what I wrote on my web site: The 'Alawiya order in the Yemen has recently been studied by the anthropologist, David Buchman. In his article titled The Underground Friends of God and Their Adversaries: A Case Study and Survey of Sufism in Contemporary Yemen, Professor Buchman summarizes the results of his six month period of fieldwork in Yemen. This is not the only part that was plagiarized. (Alan Godlas)99shakir786 (talk) 08:20, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

So I have now corrected the plagiarism by appropriately quoting and citing what was taken from my writing on my website. --Alan Godlas —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.32.177.25 (talk) 02:10, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is shadhili not a Sunni order?

[edit]

Hi, I have added source that Shadhili is a sunni order. pls add any reference to prove your view. Orders can be decided only by the founders and not by the followers or their POV. Wasif (talk) 13:43, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
