Is it worth noting that there's a Sidney Green Street, presumably named after him, in Chapel Hill, NC?

I read that Sydney Greenstreet was very difficult to work with. This must certainly been the case with THE NEW ADVENTURES of NERO WOLFE. During its' brief run they had to recast the part of his assistant 'Archie Goodwin' several times. None of the actors lasted for more than a few weeks. I am a radio historian and own copies of all the surviving episodes, so the frequent change in actors can easily be heard. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.66.32.44 (talk) 23:31, 2 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Concerning the description of the character "Joel Cairo" played by Peter Lorre, the term "twitchy" is wrong. The editor has confused the character of Joel Cairo with that of Wilmer Cook played by Elisha Cook Jr. Elisha Cook's character is twitchy in the extreme while that of Peter Lorre is anything but twitchy (sniveling perhaps but not twitchy).

"His debut film role was as Kasper Gutman ("The Fat Man") in The Maltese Falcon, which co-starred Peter Lorre as the twitchy Joel Cairo"

John Ogden Greenstreet

[edit]

In the top right of the page, the son's dates are listed as 1920-2004. This would have made him 84 or 83 when he passed, and yet in the article it says that John died at age 74. One of these details is mistaken, and an edit is in order. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.35.221.161 (talk) 04:10, 12 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
