difficult history?

[edit]

What is the difficuly history? Please explain.

Atlanta residents, I think, have viewed Underground as an over-hyped, touristy, somewhat dangerious place (at least, for the last 20 years or so). Various groups have attempted to reenergize the space from time to time, usually without much positive effect. I think that people are still overcoming their distrust of downtown in general, and Underground is part of that. Now the place has a kind of stigma attached to it. I agree. Downtown shifts very rapidly from being OK this is pretty nice to my god I'm going to get robbed. The underground is in the gonna get robbed part. Jcforge (talk) 19:49, 2 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
