Real-world information from "Show Me the Monkey"

[edit]
Copy-pasted from Show Me the Monkey (redirects here now), may be merged in here by someone familiar with the show and the reliability and significance of the information:
  • According to John Embom in the official episode podcast, the full name of the lab worker who stole the monkey is Gil Thomas Pardy or Gil T. Pardy (Guilty Party).[1]
  • The character of Ed Argent was originally supposed to be Ted Nugent. When they couldn't get him, the writers changed the name and added a reference to the '70s band Argent.[1]
  • Oscar/25, the monkey, is played by Katie, the same 'actor' as Marcel in Friends.[1]

Eric Goldman of IGN gave the episode a good review (8.2/10). He was upset that the repercussions of Logan intentionally getting arrested in the last episode were not addressed, and was not excited by the resolution of the episode's mystery, but found the story as a whole entertaining.[2]

John Ramos, aka Couch Baron, of Television Without Pity gave the episode an "A" rating.[3]

FLC!

[edit]

This should go to FLC not to GAN! Nergaal (talk) 03:52, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Depends on how you look at it. Other season pages which are FLs contain an episode table, and a list of the cast and crew. This page, however, is more like an article, e.g. Smallville (season 1). It contains a table, but the other sections are prose. So, it could go either way. Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 04:29, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, it looks like your wish has been granted. ;) Corn.u.co.piaDisc.us.sion 07:36, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Episode 6, "Hi, Infidelity"

[edit]

It reads "Piz invites Veronica to bowl, and she invites Logan and Parker as well, unaware that Piz wanted the evening to be a date." I doubt this is true because Piz did invite Wallace also. Perhaps Piz predicted that Wallace was too busy with his studies to accept the invite, but this is speculation. Piz invited Wallace and I am disputing the correctness of the article unless someone can back up the sentence I quoted. Urbanus Secundus (talk) 16:06, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Copy of the official press release outlining the episode states the following: "Piz (Chris Lowell) invites Veronica to a night of bowling and she decides to bring Logan (Jason Dohring) and Parker (Julie Gonzalo), unaware Piz wanted the evening to be more of a date.Xeworlebi (talk) 18:24, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Allright. Thanks for verifying it. But the wording is different and I am going to do a slight edit in the article. As it is now, I understand the press release a bit differently from the article. Urbanus Secundus (talk) 21:30, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
