Endangered Jobs section

[edit]

Noting a single business in Vineland seems to be a form of advertising and utterly irrelevant to me. At the very least, in its current form it's terribly unencyclopedic. A quick search on yellowpages.com yields dozens of NJ cobblers. [1] If no one objects or replies to this within in a week, I will just remove the section. -Elysianfields (talk) 17:44, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Largest City

[edit]

Vineland is the largest city in New Jersey regarding land area. It is larger than any other municipality that is called a city. It is NOT the largest municipality in total area. Its neighbor to the east, Maurice River Township, covers an area 30 square miles more that Vineland.

Haunted House

[edit]

I heard that there is a haunted house here and that it is a tourist attraction. It is privately owned buy you are allowed to drive by it. They say just ask someone there where it is and they will tell you.--VampireKen (talk) 20:53, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Ain't It Strange"?

[edit]

The opening line of Patti Smith's song "Ain't It Strange" from Radio Ethiopia goes "Down in Vineland/There's a clubhouse/Girl in white dress/Boys shoot water/Oh, don't you know that anyone can join/And they come and they call and they fall on the floor". Does this refer to a real place in the town? (talk) 13:09, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vineland is in Atlantic County NOT Cumberland.

I moved Vineland stuff to Atlantic County-related articles71.188.14.236 (talk) 05:11, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And I've moved it all back. What are you basing this claim on? Simply saying that everyone else is lying is not going to convince anyone. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 23:41, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
