Redirecting

[edit]

If anyone is interested in redirecting this article to something else, I suggest talking about it here first.--Rockfang (talk) 05:41, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I reredirected it. Any recreation should have reliable sources, not just wikis, to back it up. Also there needs to be more than plot summary backing this article up, it needs evidence of real world notabilty, not just an in-universe summary. ThemFromSpace 15:29, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'd like to wait a few days to get input from more people before any redirect is made please.--Rockfang (talk) 16:54, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ok that's understandable, but if this isn't improved or redirected in a few days I'm putting it up for AfD. I was going through random articles and doing cleanup when I saw the notability tag was on this for over a year, so I figured if nobody had done anything about it for so long than its either unsalvageable or nobody cares enough to do it. If noone else comments here after like 3 days, then I'm cool with redirecting. That way, non admins will have access to the article for any possible future improvement.--Rockfang (talk) 17:10, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Redirected as such per this conversation. ThemFromSpace 04:32, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is an episode page. Deleting it breaks continuity as every episode links to all the others, and has a place in various menu bars. Unless you're about to embark on a crusade to delete every episode page of a TV show on Wikipedia, than I suggest you improve the article next time rather than just redirect it. 71.204.155.151 (talk) 04:48, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps you'd like to do the same. I don't believe that the episode has the notability required to have its own article. It's not our fault that other stuff exists which shouldn't and that shouldn't prevent us from acting upon the guidelines. Again, unless you fix this article to a working state within a few days it will be redirected. ThemFromSpace 04:54, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Funny you link to "other stuff exists." Perhaps you'd care to actually read it next time? Allow me to quote directly from the article: "Each Star Trek series has an episode list and individual articles for each episode: List of Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes, List of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes, List of Star Trek: Voyager episodes, etc. show that episodes all have their own articles. Thus it is reasonable to expect that, using these as precedent for content inclusion, that Star Trek: Enterprise can also have an episode list as well as articles on each individual episode, as there is no fundamental difference between the various Star Trek series." Sound at all familiar by any chance? Such as... what this article is? Sheesh. 71.204.155.151 (talk) 05:14, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ok then, looks like I'll have to merge them all into a single article. It will take some time, don't expect it by tomorrow as I'm busy but there is no notability of any of these articles, and merging them into a single list is what's usually done in these cases. It's certainly very noble of you to take it upon yourself to change established Wikipedia policy entirely on your own initiative without even asking anybody else. I'm sure it won't have any consequences... 71.204.155.151 (talk) 09:09, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
