Xenogears does not use Square Enix "Active-time battle guage" Battles are completely turn based with no time limit, and enemies will only attack when it is there turn. This is reported falsely in the article a few different times. Also when quoting another website, IGN I think. It should be changed to reflect that battles are completely turn based with no ATB system at all.
