Should the article not be moved to Myeong-Hee Yu?--Ipigott (talk) 16:11, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you think so, Ipigott. I'm really confused about how Korean names work and just try to go with what I see written most often. You probably have a better insight. :) Megalibrarygirl (talk) 17:20, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
My logic was simply that her family name is Yu and she is presented in the box as Myeong-Hee Yu. I now see all the Google listings are also Myeong-Hee Yu - so I'll move it.--Ipigott (talk) 17:24, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, Ipigott! Megalibrarygirl (talk) 18:47, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Microbiologist?

[edit]

Is she really a microbiologist? From the description of her work on alpha-1 antitrypsin (A1AT) she sounds much more like a molecular biologist. Generally I would expect microbiologists to study micro-organisms. A1AT is a protein common in mammalian blood plasma so not part of the traditional (at least in my understanding) domain of microbiology. It's study is mainstream as the enzyme is involved understanding in a range of major human diseases. Semudobia (talk) 22:10, 15 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
