Original hook is ungrammatical and, as it is almost identical to the ALT, it is easier to strike it than to fix it (I'm all about striking; karate chops; judo flips; death grips) Belle (talk) 22:50, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
  • Sorry, I think this article needs a bit more weight before it qualifies as "start class" for DYK. Right now it has a lead (fine), a cast list, and a description of the casting of each cast member. Yoninah (talk) 23:44, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
Yoninah, have in mind that this is an article about a film that is still under production, there is much less info available than from films that have been finished and released. So of course that the article will be smaller. And yes, it has very little weight and would never pass as a good or featured article in this state, but the requirements for a DYK article are less demanding. It simply needs to introduce the topic, a basic overview is good enough. Cambalachero (talk) 04:57, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
  • I know that DYK only requires start-class. But character count is not the sole determinant of start-class. Per Rule D7: There is a reasonable expectation that an article—even a short one—that is to appear on the front page should appear to be complete and not some sort of work in progress. Only talking about the casting for a film that literally began filming on the day the article was nominated is IMO a work in progress. @Captain Assassin!: has previously nominated many new-film articles that at least were a month or two into production, so there is something to say about the production. Yoninah (talk) 10:22, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: I couldn't find much about this topic at this time, they didn't even revealed the plot yet. So I think it doesn't matter on this article. And yes, I've nominated so many articles with films in-production and many of them were nominated just one day after production starts, like this one. So in this stage, it's very rare that film articles are heavy weight. I had nominated articles which hardly qualified the 1500 characters, but they were accepted because of the DYK rules. I would have added the stuff if I found some, but I could not. --Captain Assassin! «TCG» 10:50, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
  • So why did you rush to write it? Yoninah (talk) 10:52, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
  • It's a strange question :). I cover the film project and when production begins I intend to create it and if there are filming details coming-in, I cover those day-by-day. Look at Black Mass and Dirty Grandpa for example, there are more. --Captain Assassin! «TCG» 12:06, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
  • I still stand by what I said. You didn't even write that it's the sequel to Goon (film)! Yoninah (talk) 13:14, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
  • Where? In the article...? I wrote about the sequel. --Captain Assassin! «TCG» 17:39, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
  • Sorry, I missed that. Is there anything else you can add now, after filming has been going on for a week? Is there any word on the plot? Yoninah (talk) 18:16, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
  • I think that this request for a big expansion and for information that is not available yet, is a bit out of place. I considered that the article is ready for DYK, and I still think that. Cambalachero (talk) 13:45, 1 July 2015 (UTC)
  • I've said what I have to say, and Cambalachero has stated his opinion. Lets ask another reviewer to resolve this. Yoninah (talk) 19:07, 1 July 2015 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: Article has now over 2250 characters and updated, please finalize the review now. --Captain Assassin! «TCG» 05:06, 24 July 2015 (UTC)
  • OK. But could you put in one line about the plot? Here's what I found in Footnote 5: Seann William Scott is set to reprise his role as hockey enforcer Doug “the Thug” Glatt in a story that sees his team, the Halifax Highlanders, reunite with a host of new players during a pro lockout. Yoninah (talk) 09:57, 24 July 2015 (UTC)
  • Thanks! Article is new enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. ALT1 hook ref verified and cited inline. Image is public domain. QPQ done. ALT1 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 19:53, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
