EuroLinux is a Linux distribution developed by EuroLinux company. Based on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating system source code EuroLinux aims to be binary-compatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux. EuroLinux is also default operating system used with the other company products. Since version 8.3 EuroLinux is released in open-core model.

History[edit]

EuroLinux started as the fork of the Scientific Linux distriubtion. From version 8 forward EuroLinux is independently developed from Red Hat Enterprise Linux sources. The company also changed the business model from commercial open source to open-core model, offering the same system in community supported version and with commercial support. EuroLinux company offer availability to customized create fork of the original sources.

Standard EuroLinux installation ISO have two variants minimal and standard image. Older versions can be found on the vault servers.
